With release of new Google caffeine version of Google web search, it is becoming social as that include information from social networking sites like facebook and twitter.
Google, the search engine giant has announced recently that with a few tweaks, people can now search information related to their friends, co-workers and other who are members of social networks using Google, the company said in its official blog.
To perform this kind of search, the tools required is a Google account. A user can reach their friends and family members via their profiles or blog on social networking sites.
To perform this via facebook, a social networking site, you can easily adjust the privacy setting to make your data accessible to others on the web. With this the Google user who is performing search can click on “My social link” to know what other are doing on your network and what they had written or posted on a particular topic.
Who is in your social network? In your social circle people include:
• People in your Gmail talk list
• People in your friends, family and co-workers list
• People who are connected through social service and listed in your Google profile etc…
