Have you ever noticed you web page download time? Do you know that it will impact your SEO efforts? If, not then this is the best time to pay close attention towards this issue because both Google and yahoo is paying attention towards this recently.
In light of stance from Google saying that until now the page load time has nothing to do with their algorithm but with respect to initiatives taken to speed up the web, page load time may become a consideration in future. These efforts are putting in light as search engines are paying close attention to the user experience of your website or blog.
It works like this:
High page loading time -> irritated visitors -> bad user experience
Bad user experience -> bad SEO efforts and website.
Hence giving attention towards user experience has become important in present competitive SEO rankings. There are many factors that influence the overall experience of the readers of your website.
For any visitor, quick page load time is more important than ranking of the page. While describing the page load time, the two aspects to look at are ACCESS and RENDERING.
ACCESS is how quickly a page can be accessed or any other kind of document when you send a request to retrieve it. While assessing the access time then one must also look for the performance of the server and file.
RENDERING is something that can be defined as how quickly a page can show up in a browser either in part or full. It will determine the user experience as it is the time a user has to wait for the page to appear in the browser to start reading.
In the same way the search engines might rank on the basis of amount of time it takes to connect the page. It will influence the page rakings because when the search engines try to index the page, how much they are able to read the page or crawled and indexed the page.
